The C-Expression Evaluator is described in MDL Function Reference: "User Interface > Handling Expressions". This evaluator was available in MicroStation GeoGraphics 8.5 and is also available in Bentley Map. XFM adds expressions to this context. The COMPARE function is an example of a function provided by XFM. See the "Criteria" topic in the Bentley Geospatial Administrator help.
